Алиса Супронова - НЮДЛЯ (на калмыцком), Б. Джимбиев

very beautiful song! The author is Badma Dzhimbiev. He lived a short life, but left his people a song for centuries. The first performer is the "Kalmyk nightingale" Ulan Lidzhieva. It was her voice and Mergen Kim's version that touched my heart. I tried to fit the whole meaning into the third verse in Russian. You turn on the old recording - and you are already in the black and white history of our peoples, where great-grandfathers and great-grandmothers are young, their hearts are filled with love for the Motherland and faith in a happy future, no matter what ... Two hopes of one song. January 1943. Badma Dzhimbiev, a former famous artist of the Kalmyk Drama Theater, and a Red Army soldier from the beginning of the war, was in the hospital after being wounded. There he was visited by his colleague at the theater Ulan Lidzhieva. The author invited her to perform his song, which he dedicated to his beloved Nyudla. The song was loved by the Kalmyks, it warmed the soldiers at the front with hope. Junior Sergeant Badma Dzhimbiev died a heroic death on the Kursk-Oryol Bulge, and later his Nyudlya was sent into exile. December 1943. Operation "Ulusy". While the multinational Red Army fought for victory, the bitter history of the deportation of our peoples was being written in parallel. It affected the Kalmyks too, and long 13 years of waiting far from their native land began. March 1956. On the All-Union Radio, that is, throughout the country, the Kalmyk "Nyudlya" performed by Ulan Lidzhieva suddenly sounded. And again the song inspired - the native language and the voice of the beloved singer gave the Kalmyks hope to return home. According to one version, Nyudlya did not live to see rehabilitation. According to another, she went through all the hardships of a special settler, raised her daughters, looked after her grandchildren and lived to old age. P.S. My tears remain behind the scenes when I sing such songs. And before my eyes is the "Mask of Sorrow" in my native Magadan. May God grant us memory and wisdom! In the background, heart-rending videos about Nyudl and the deportation of Kalmyks are taken from: Oleg Shalburov: • Kalmyk music video "NUDLYA" / Video... by Lidiya Aidarova: • In memory of the deportation of the Kalmyk people NEVER FEAR MR J IS HERE!!!
