Indefinite expressions in Russian with кое-

What's a good way to express "I want to show/tell you something" – when you know what you're talking about, but the listener doesn't yet? Russian has a special element for that: кое-. It may not be as common as indefinite expressions with то or -нибудь, but it comes in handy for those situations, and also as a way to express some small, indefinite amount.
