Prost Grand Prix 1998 (1998) - Every PC F1 Game

Prost Grand Prix 1998 by Visiware/Canal+ Multimedia, 1998. This game was originally going to be called Starting Grid, and featured cars and tracks from 1996, but then the Prost Grand Prix license came along instead. It means there's a car that looks like the 1996 Prost, as well as the 1998 Prost, in the game! Here I'm running the 3Dfx Glide version, which allows anti-aliasing, but also adds filtering the the sky textures (only!). 1. Race Start (Monza): 0:00 This game has random events in it, so you can see one car pulling off in smoke as I make my way to the chicane! 2. Spray Effects (Silverstone): 0:32 There's no spray effects present here (at least not in the 3Dfx Glide version). 3. Tunnel & View (Monaco): 0:43 Monaco is pretty detailed, given the almost budget software nature of this game. 4. Wet Track (Spa-Francorchamps): 0:55 Wet weather is pretty good here, no reflections though, but a nice combination of fog and rain effects make it a bit harder to see! 5. Pitstop (Interlagos): 1:14 Pitstops aren't particularly exciting, but at least there is a pitcrew to look at, even if you drive through them on exit! Again, another game that locks you into in-car in the pits (for some of the stop, at least!). 6. Huge Crash (Montreal): 1:38 You have to work relatively hard to destroy your car in this game.
