Ознайомити дітей із найдавніших свят та традиціями українському народу щодо його святкування; вчити відрізняти добре від поганого, бути ввічливими, дотримуватися правил хорошого тону; сприяти формуванню доброти, чуйності; розвивати мову, зорову та слухову пам'ять, дитячу фантазію, творче мислення; виховувати любов до свого народу, його звичаїв, обрядів та традицій. To acquaint children with the oldest holidays and traditions of the Ukrainian people regarding their celebration; to learn to distinguish good from bad, to be polite, to follow the rules of good tone; to promote the formation of kindness, sensitivity; to develop language, visual and auditory memory, children's imagination, creative thinking; to cultivate love for one's people, their customs, rites and traditions.
