This is the first look at the Knobbly Crook HD - a 1080p upgrade with a new engine (Unity/Adventure Creator), a new, more efficient interface, new sections to backgrounds to fit the extra space, new gags, new characters, potentially new puzzles, and improvements all around. This isn't a lazy filtered "upgrade," this is all hand-drawn revision. This version of the game will be for sale when I finish, but not for some huge amount. The free older version, remains a complete game anybody can download. A few people may have been following Something Seeps, hoping to see me progress. However, I was struggling to write, draw, come up with puzzles, and learn a new engine all at the same time. This is a calculated training session--I'll be able to learn the engine as I upgrade Knobbly already knowing the puzzles, jokes, and progression all works, so it will give me the experience I'll need to jump back to Something Seeps when it's done. Unless it gets a proper fan base and it makes more sense to do the Junky Dump sequel. We'll see! I'm hoping this upgrade only takes about a year to complete. You'll have stuff to do before you're allowed to confess, like have your picture taken and give a blood sample. It's going to be a tutorial!
