The Tenth Line Full Playthrough

This ones been here for a good bit, just was busy at the time and left behind sadly. This is an interesting game. The combat mechanics are actually pretty good, though I think the platforming sections are pretty annoying more then being unique to make it more enjoyable. The combat allows you to get more damage based on knockup, which is where all the damage is really gonna come from. You could get some raw damage, but it'd always be better being combod. I think at times I saw skills that just didn't seem all that great, or a general mechanic I didn't really care to use, like the kobold's elemental darts, but maybe they have some better use I just didn't see. When ya get said skills to land, it's very satisfying. It's very annoying to get around at times on the platforming sections, one thing I would note, being the kobold. Now they all have their own strengths when moving about, but the jump the kobold does is just so obnoxious. You're expected to make these specific heights, but he just doesn't have it in him. Everything else felt precise, so I don't know why he's felt like it was luck based. The rest is fine for what it is, especially when you're going through the first time, but if you have to backtrack, it's just a pain. Later on as well, since if you're not a certain distance from your teammates, when you get into a fight, you can be delayed a few turns so they can arrive, which can mean death pretty much. The later areas have you switch locations by door warps, so if you're not immediately funneling everyone in, you can easily run into this situation. With environmental hazards getting in the way as well, it's more on the annoying side then an enjoyable experience. Bosses weren't too bad till a certain point. I won't count the optional, since they are basically the super bosses of the game and will be there own section. Once you get across the ice dragon, it starts getting pretty rough, but once you get past that, it calms down again, probably due to the materials and leveling I had at the time to not make it as bad as that moment. Some segments really need you to use your guard skills, which had been neglected, since it just flat out wasn't needed. When you get into death spell territory, oh, it's very needed. Though once again, the kobold's skill, I don't know where it'd really be useful. I'd say for the most part if you do everything available and keep upgrading, you'll get through the game fine. The super bosses are pretty horrific. It took a good amount of retires to get by them and you'd want to do them in a certain order. You wanna do the gauntlet first, just to have those materials for the super bosses, then the black dragon and then whoever ya feel like. She ends up dropping ridiculous materials that are just amazing, so it'd just be a waste to do her last. She actually wasn't that bad considering the time I had with the other two either, then I did the gauntlet, which was dirt easy after all of that. The game has a card game inside of it, which I didn't care about at all till I beat the game. Due to this, I missed out on a card from some smo on the wall that prevented me from doing all achievements, but I aint doing no 70% of a game for that. If ya care about it if you play this, just get some cards and try and get that out of the way. Everything else I got just by playing the game and talking to people, that being the only person who erased themselves from existence to stop me from getting it. This game does have a lot of menuing, so if you give this a try, expect to put in a good amount towards just leveling up or getting things setup to function better, like leveling up your weapons or whatever. It can be a fun game, but it does have a pretty obnoxious leveling system.
