Soothing Acoustic BOSSA Nova Guitar Chords (w/ pdf)

These chords come from a live recording of Joao Gilberto playing the tune "Desafinado" by Brazilian Composer Antonio Carlos Jobim, the composer of "The Girl from Ipanema." Most of these chords utilize open strings and are quite challenging to switch between. To get the "Bossa Nova" sound, use your thumb to hit the lowest note of the chord on beats 1 and 3, and use your remaining fingers to comp the rest of the chord.
