A glorious final battle between two of the world's strongest athletes took place Tuesday afternoon off of the heart-shaped island of Tavarua. 11X World Champion Kelly Slater (USA) was determined to defend his title in Fiji, joining Mick Fanning (AUS) in the lineup at Cloudbreak in classic conditions for the Volcom Fiji Pro Final. After scoring a historic perfect 20.00 heat score in his Quarter-final heat against Sebastian Zietz (HAW), nothing could get in the way of the most dominant competitor the sport of surfing has ever seen.
