(PC-98) Caramel Quest: Meitenkyou no Megami Zou (キャラメルクエスト ～冥天宮の女神像～) gameplay

Caramel Quest: Meitenkyou no Megami Zou (キャラメルクエスト ～冥天宮の女神像～) is a RPG that was released by Agumix for the PC-98 in 1991. The main character, Toffeel, is a prince who is asked by his father, the King, to go on an adventure on his birthday. He needs to grow and an adventure is just the thing that will make him worthy to be King one day. Caramel Quest has traditional RPG elements such as Dragon Quest battles, equipment, level, and random battles. Comedy takes a leading role in the game from the very start, when the prince asks for an Apple computer for his birthday instead of an Amiga. The battles are tough even around the starting area. I ran into that queen bee monster who attacked hard multiple times before I could do anything. Press the Home key to open the menu. It's best to save as soon as possible because the game can't reload if your party is wiped and there is no save data. Talk to the king's advisers to get gear at the start of the game.
