Since the last video, I've been trying to make a full transition to the PPC meta. Been somewhat rough at first, which is why I haven't had much videos on the Puyo side of things, but I'm slowly starting to adjust to the players on the field. Here's some point form difference between PPT & PPC ranked: Ratings are usually from 1800-3000. They don't go any higher than that usually. Higher is better, of course. This also means that losses in this mode hit your rating hard, so expect 200 point fluctuations if you're having good/bad days. PPT's Puyo Puyo mode had been readjusted in terms of drop speed and damage calculation from the September 2017 patch AFAIK. PPC retains the original speed of Puyo Puyo as seen in other games prior to this patch. Because this is the most recent official Puyo game, high level competitors are more aggressive. You have to read your opponent's field/throw appropriate harassments in order to survive in the upper echelon of opponents--while still maintaining clean builds. I'll be primarily moving here for my Puyo Puyo videos now because I'm just exhausted of PPT's meta, and I'm not learning much there as a Puyo player compared to the competition in Chronicle. Really looking forward to a new Puyo title for home consoles in the future though.
