Challenge of the Ancient Empires! Explorer% speedrun WR [ 53:48

I was a huge fan of this game as a kid, so when I saw that it had no plays as a speedgame, I knew I had to route it and set a reasonable time. I can't find any other speedruns of this game, so I'm tentatively claiming this as the WR, but please point me to other runs if you find any! There are a few moderate mistakes, each costing about 10 to 20 seconds. Sub-52 minutes is likely reachable using this route with near-perfect play. Explorer%: Complete all 20 chambers, and then the "Sound the Gong" boss fight. Time starts from selecting Explorer difficulty. Time ends when the last gong is sounded.
