Armed Against the Undead VR Gameplay HTC Vive (Update 1)

Overall the game is better. There's still work to be done, but it's better. I like the new AI. You have to stay on your toes after the second wave and if you take the hard path, it seem like it delivers. The environments looked better as well. I think there's still some balancing to do. The first two waves put me to sleep but the 4th wave seems to spawn more zombies than I have bullets. Both shotguns seem pretty pointless now. The new spread makes it so that you can only hit zombies that are close enough to hit you... You don't want zombies that close... Needs to be cut by a good 50% imo if we're going to realistic spread and even that's going to be too wide to be realistic. The pistols feel like they've been angled down and don't feel natural in my hands anymore. An angle setting is needed to find a comfort level. Preferably an individual setting for all guns as the Kriss was perfect. The MP5 feels like it was tweaked. it's probably balanced though it does feel like it got a bit of a nerf which is always sad. Back to the pistols, not a fan of the fake recoil. While aiming at a zombies head the angle of the gun pops up each shot to a rather ridiculous height and takes far longer to get back on sight than practical. IMO, make the controller vibrate to simulate the gunshot and have that be the recoil instead of artificially creating it. It's just not how you would naturally deal with recoil to bend at the wrist to compensate and it's awkward. Again, I'd say overall it's better than before. The change in AI is huge and they get points for pushing updates instead of cutting and running with our cash. However mechanically speaking, I think the game took a step in the wrong direction as far as what I find enjoyable. But that's just my opinion. What do think of it if you've played?
