Сосед раздражался, когда мы бесплатно убирали тротуар – шокирующая причина! Сначала, когда мы начали убирать заброшенный тротуар перед жилым районом, один сосед проявил недовольство и постоянно следил за нами, даже пытался помешать нашей работе. Что удивило всех, так это причина его поведения. Оказалось, что этот сосед думал, что мы — рабочие, нанятые властями для уборки. Из-за недовольства рядом нерешённых вопросов с местными властями он посчитал, что эта уборка — просто показуха, и отреагировал довольно резко. Однако, после того как мы объяснили, что мы всего лишь группа добровольцев, которые не получают оплаты и не связаны с какими-либо государственными организациями, его отношение полностью изменилось. Он был удивлён, тронут и начал нас тепло приветствовать, даже принёс воду, чтобы угостить нас. Эта история показывает, что иногда достаточно прозрачности и искренности, чтобы развеять недоразумения и распространять добрые поступки в обществе.
