Bad Rats, the infamous titled conjured in a test tube by Invent4 Entertainment, has been crawling into player's Steam libraries through Trojan Horse holiday gifts since 2009. I'm no different but I decided to do something about my inevitable Bad Rats experience: shoot for the leaderboards! For those that are unfamiliar with this game, it is a physics-based puzzle game with INCONSISTENT PHYSICS... It is for that very reason that this game bolsters its infamy. This run can be considered a speed run (In-Game timer), leaderboard attempt, walkthrough (not advisable,) achievement guide, and an excuse to say that one has experienced this game. It is segmented into 45 parts (one for each level plus the leaderboard.) This playthrough is officially #5 on the Bad Rats leaderboard ( ); Let me know in the comments if my ranking changes so that I can update the description. Please note that "Super Nails" are used in this run which is a New Game+ item; I felt that it was 'fair game' to use them since the world record single segment speed run of this game also makes use of the "Super Nails." To be completely honest, this game was quite a chore to play with such precision. The challenge of trying to complete these stages using minimal items and rats is only intensified by the RNG that the physics provide.
