Fighters' Impact A [Arcade] - play as Raoul

This is a playthrough using Raoul Castellion in the Arcade game Fighters' Impact A. Read on below for more information... Raoul appears as a possible mid-boss or penultimate boss, and he is an immediate playable character in this version of the game. NOTE: Continues were used in this playthrough. Unwanted losses are cut out to save time and keep the video file size to a minimum. ===== ABOUT RAOUL ===== He is an aristocratic man who fights using his own style of Karate. He is blind in one eye, and it is not known on who took out his eye. ===== GAMEPLAY ===== This guy is pretty strong with his style of Karate because being a tall character means that his strike range is good. He also has some good juggle combos, but you won't see this in the video because I am not good at this game. ===== OTHER INFORMATION ===== ---- His Stage 4 mid-boss is Dr.WIZ; his Stage 8 penultimate boss is Faraha; and his Final Stage boss is Barazock of course. ===== ABOUT REVISION A ===== Revision 'A' is an upgrade of the original Arcade game... it is basically the 'Champion Edition' of Fighters' Impact. The most significant change is that all five bosses (including Dr.WIZ) are now made playable characters. Other changes include gameplay tweaks - such as the removal of the custom combo system; the ability to escape throws; a counter-attack mechanic; and the removal of the universal dash-back "backflip" and "cartwheel" movements (besides Faraha). There are also new colour palettes for the characters and stage backgrounds, and the lifebar health colour is now blue instead of green. ===== ABOUT FIGHTERS' IMPACT ===== Fighter's Impact is a somewhat slow-paced technical fighting game. It's gameplay is focused on tactics, making you think about your next move, stringing your own combos together and blocking correctly. On the lifebar, under the character's name, there is a light-up counter that lights up and extends the higher you string moves together - however as mentioned earlier, this mechanic was removed in Revision 'A' of the game. For most of the regular characters you get to choose between 3 fighting styles/modes for them, complete with a different costume for each style. Despite some martial art styles being shared (such as Karate), there are some minor differences between the different characters using the same fighting style. The bosses do not have any sub styles to choose from, instead most of them use enhanced versions of existing styles. Faraha is the only character to use her own unique fighting style. The game features an atmospheric relaxing soundtrack, which usually closely matches the ambiance of the stage you're on. This is also one of those fighting games where in single-player mode, certain soundtracks carry over (continue playing) for multiple matches.
