Sorcery Saga: Curse of the Great Curry God - 1

Looks like I found myself a new mystery dungeon style game to play. This one is more like a graphic novel of sorts. It is heavy on the text so far. Game play has some unique mechanics going on that I am not sure how I feel about them. I was just thinking if I get at least 1 item per floor, I can just pay an item tax to my pet creature and then never really worry about him too much, but I don't know how well that would work out for me.
