Came also out for: Macintosh Game description: Bugatron is a Galaga-styled fixed-screen shooter game where the player must shoot down armies of insects. The enemies typically fly onto the screen in spirals, and tend to pirouette all over the screen during the gameplay; depending on the level they might shoot at the player's ship or not. Some levels also contain unique gameplay elements, for example the enemies can only be destroyed by pushing them off their flight path into an obstacle, or the player must maneuver through a narrow path in one piece. Destroying the enemies occasionally causes pick-ups to appear, with both positive (new weapons, extra life, faster ship, larger enemies) and negative (slowdown, slower weapon, less controllable ship, smaller enemies) effects.
