Game Boy Advance Longplay [091] The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

Played by: Tsunao Adventure-y game by Capcom (and Nintendo). Follow Zelda as he rescues some girl, gets some necklaces, and some blue rocks. There's also a mirror. The GBA version includes the SNES game with some changes and a new multiplayer-only game called "Four Swords". Since it is impossible to do that on an emulator, I just omitted the Four Swords from the title name. As mentioned, there are many changes from the original SNES: HUD change, inventory got changed (Bottles get their own slots, keep Shovel after getting Flute), Level 5 made slightly easier (normally, people go to Level 5 after Level 6 to use Cane of Somaria, even though it can be completed without it), Magic Mirror transitions sped up, saving and quitting doesn't count toward games (thus, 000 is obtained by just not dying), and a better translation. There's also a dungeon called Four Swords Palace (or summin'). It demands the multiplayer game to be completed to access it (you also get a riddle sidequest to get a spin attack upgrade). This longplay goes through ALttP with little savestate abuse (heavy abuse on Lamola Ice Rod shenanigans and Shovel minigame Heart Piece. I started at the beginning of the minigame. I know some was used in some dungeons, but only when I made a wrong turn or forgot a dungeon item.) and questionable performance (haven't played this in years). It also gets pretty much every item (and maxes item capacity) except for the spin attack upgrade and Golden Bee (found out too late where it was. Never did found it). Save and quitting was spammed (edited out reloading the savefile). I also edit out Wish Spring visits (cave in Lake Hylia) After clearing the game, I glitch my way into the Four Swords Palace and proceed to clear that. I did use a savestate because I was cocky and got finished off by the last Link. ._. - Disclaimer: Most videos by World of Longplays use SaveStates!
