Hack Slash & Backstab - a new video game from MAGIC!

15 RIT students have developed a gorgeous dungeon exploration game - with a twist - and will present it at the Game Developer's Conference (GDC) in San Francisco later this Spring! The 'team" player game lets 4 adventurers explore and fight their way through the dungeon... but in the final moments of each level, players turn on each other in a competitive showdown - because only one character can win the level. The designers made a conscious effort to include this not-so-pretty aspect of human interaction, and say that it mimics many real-life situations.
