Where's the Phantom?(Где Фантом?) - I Love you(Я тебя люблю) - English Translation

Hopefully one day we can all relate to this song. 0:00 Title Card and Instrumental 0:41 First Verse 1:02 Instrumental Break 2:14 Second Verse 2:35 Instrumental and Fade Out This song popped into my recommendations, loved it and like all the other songs I post here wanted to figure out what they were saying. There were a couple of changes to the translation. The standard changing of some words such as adding or removing a "then" "that" or "I" occurred, as well as shortening some lines such as "can not" to "can't" . A few of the notable ones are below: "In the kitchen my food's getting cold" is actually "In the kitchen my soup's getting cold", changed to improve the flow and because "my soup" sounded a bit too silly with all due respect. "Just one thing on my mind: I love you" Is mostly correct, although it more accurately translates to "one thing in my mind: I love you". Changed to improve the flow without straying from the original meaning. "You're somewhere in this city" was hard to translate and is more along the lines of "You are walking somewhere in the city", changed to improve the flow of the song while strengthening the original meaning. "But I still can't find you" may have actually been changed, though in full honesty I'm not sure. "There's other girls out there" is more like "There are young girls" or "There are young girls out there", changed because I got creepy vibes from it and "There's other girls out there" greatly strengthens the message and original meaning in English. "Me and my friends go out for drinks" is actually "My friends and I go out for a beer", changed to improve the flow. "They say you sleep around" is more like "They say you sleep with others". "Sleep around" has a similar if not the same meaning, and was used to improve the flow and make it sound better overall. 🍪 - Here's a cookie or making it this far!
