This is a recording of a Twitch stream I did of the first part of JB Harold: Blue Chicago Blues for the LaserActive on June 28, 2019. It covers the full first day of the game. Blue Chicago blues is part of the longrunning Japanese PC adventure series JB Harold. It follows the adventures of a small-town cop who gets called into the big cities to investigate mysteries. In this game, he's called into Chicago after a fellow cop from his own department is killed - and is herself suspected of the murder of a second person in Chicago. JB works to clear her name while also tracking down who's responsible for both murders. This game was originally exclusive to the bizarre LaserActive game console, which combines Sega Genesis or NEC Turbografx hardware with a laserdisc player. Later ports cut down on the amount of full-motion video, and most of them replace the English audio track with Japanese.
