This is the longplay of the game Earnest Evans, an action and platform game produced and distributed by Wolfteam. Its distribution in the USA was made by Renovation and this game was released in 1991 for the Sega CD and in 1992 on Mega Drive / Sega Genesis in the USA. In the 1930s, a man known as Earnest Evans learned about three ancient idols that hold enough power to destroy the Earth. Evans decided to search the world to find the scattered idols, but he was injured before he could find the three. Now, many years later, his grandson, Earnest Evans III, continues his grandfather's quest to save humanity from total annihilation. However, a rival treasure hunter named Brady Tresidder also seeks out idols to bring about the destruction of the world. Evans must find the treasures before Tresidder. During his journey, Evans is faced with the beautiful young woman with green hair named Annet Myer, lying in some ruins of Peru, who decides to accompany him for the rest of his adventures. The two encounter a mysterious figure by the name of Sigfried, who has unknown reasons, but seems to know a lot about Hastur and his cult. The game is action and platform and carries certain influences from Castlevania and Indiana Jones. Unfortunately it is a game with horrible gameplay, where the character walks like a theatrical puppet, loses life for a few things and has an extremely bizarre movement and it is extremely easy to die in that game. The songs are good, composed by Motoi Sakuraba (responsible for the soundtracks of Wolfteam games). Earnest Evans is a game that is part of a trilogy, released exclusively on SEGA consoles. This game is the first in this trilogy and started very badly, thanks to the terrible controls and horrible graphics (if the scenarios are done well, the characters are extremely poorly designed). This game had potential, but it ended up not being well used. I hope you enjoy the video.
