Part 1 of 3 of a playthrough of Taisen Puzzle Dama, in Twinbee Taisen Puzzle Dama, on PS1. To complete the Attract mode vid, as always, here's a little playthrough of the game. Specs of the run : - Difficulty : Level 3 (standard setting) - Other Options settings : standard settings - Mode : Gamer (of the three available, Renshuu / Exercise, Ippan / General - & Gamer, gamer is the full course where you fight all opponents and where your final score is accounted) - Character : Mayu Sawada (沢田まゆ) I also have to warn you that, in order to avoid boring you, I've cut the vid, so that when an opponent defeats me more than once, all defeats past the first one won't be shown. Thus, for the note, I used in this run a total of 8 Continues (weak score, I know). Mayu is probably one of the worst characters among those available, but rule of cuteness wins. Although I was very hesitant going on either this route, or the rule of weirdness one with either Pencrow (the weird purple penguin) or John Wan Jirou (the nasty-looking dog), as both would have been very interesting as well (and John Wan has an attack pattern just as horrible as Mayu's). Either way, you'll see them both as oppenents in this part of the run. For those who played the Boss Rush Mode of Jikkyou Oshaberi Parodius, now you'll be able to see from were those two originally came from. This Parodius entry pushed the homage as far as using the same battle cries as in Taisen Puzzle Dama, along with the same "Start" and "Lose" (Make) signs ! :p (For the Japanese guy in Daimyo outfit and make-up you fight as well in Jikkyou Oshaberi Parodius, he's the last boss of Taisen Puzzle Dama and you'll see him in the third and last part of the run.)
