Wave Race 64 Rumble Pak - Nintendo 64 - Intro & Normal Playthrough 1st place [4K]

Another capture from our NTSC RGB modded N64 with a full longplay / playthrough / walkthrough / trueplay of the normal championship from the Japanese only rumble version of Wave Race 64. Well its full title is the rather catchy Wave Race 64 Kawasaki Jet Ski Rumble Pak Compatible Version, doesn't quite roll off the tongue does it. The Japanese version as the name suggests was sponsored by both Kawasaki Jet Ski and Fanta. Their logos can be seen in various locations across the game. So what does this rumble version add over the original aside from rumble support you might be asking. Well for starters it is the last code revision of the game and fixes a number of bugs in the earlier builds. It also included remixed music tracks for both Sunny Beach and Southern Island replacing the original songs. The race announcer has new call outs and the title screen voice over was changed from the original Japanese announcer to the western one. A Dolphin was also added in Time Attack mode to represent a ghost of your best time. There's a great video on it via a fellow YouTuber here:
In short this is the definite version of the game and sadly to date it remains untranslated as it was never released outside of Japan on the N64. It has been re-released on the Japanese Wii U Virtual Console and the Nintendo iQue in China, but neither of these versions game to western markets either.
