Star Trek: Alien Domain is an F2P browser-based MMO that is taking place in on of the official Star Trek universes (from a narrative perspective). In this case, the universe in question is that of Star Trek Voyager and the game follows a ship of the Federation getting lost in a distant quadrant, where hostile creatures desire to destroy them (and may have even been plotting against them for a long time). The purpose of this Star Trek Alien Domain gameplay video is to show how the game looks and feels in its opening minutes where the most basic mechanics of the strategy are presented. However, this is only scratching the surface of everything that the game offers. As far as complexity is concerned, the game goes the distance and offers an F2P free release that will take hours and hours to master. All is here, from ship and fleet management, an XP system and resource gathering and going all the way to the actual space battles. When the Star Trek Alien Domain review is concerned, it is hard to gauge what the actual game looks like after a few days or weeks of playing. For Star Trek fans, there will be enough interesting elements to keep them occupied, but there is a certainty that many others will be turned off by its choppy visual style and the super-complex set of in-game rules.
