In which I play "Colossus Chess 4.0", published by CDS Software in 1987, and written by Martin P. Bryant. Unsurprisingly, the game proceeds to kick my ass. I wasn't able to figure out how to change between 3D and 2D views of the board, but I also didn't try very hard. The 3D view is perfectly nice. I don't know what other game settings and options might be available, but it plays enough of a game to destroy me, which says very little about how competent a game engine it has. ;-)
