Get the game here: Shadows over Riva is the third part of the northland trilogy. A game which i have played as a kid, which is maybe the reason why i like this one in particular. The game is a classical RPG where you move with your party of 6 people +NPC in a First Person Perspective. The height of the view changes with your heros height (a detail that i love). You start in the Temple of Travia (Goddes of fire in the hearth) and the pristess tells your party that the city is sieged by the orcs. There is also a mixed race between human and orc called the Holbergs in the city living in it's slums and the people fear that they help the orcs to take over Riva. Later the Pristess also tells you that the Pristess in the Temple of Firun (God of Winter) is searching for help, since the undead are plaguing the cementary. Since i know the game, i get myself ready and buy a shovel and some pliers, move to the graveyard and speak with the Borons Servant (Boron is the god of the Death). After i spoke with him i discovered that under one grave there is a secret passage, which is filled to the brim with monsters and undead. #crpg #dosbox #dasschwarzeauge
