Played by: TheVandal172 Wario (ワリオ?) is a rival of Mario in video games. He is very similar to Mario, and are considered cousins; fact said by Nintendo Power magazine. As Mario and Luigi, Wario can be brother of Waluigi, now confirmed, now disproved. The name Wario comes from the combination of the words Mario and warui (that means bad in Japanese). He was created by Gunpey Yokoi to represent the opposite of Mario. So it can be Considered the "W" instead of "M" since the "W" upside down is the "M" He first appeared in 1992 as an adversary of Mario in the game Super Mario Land 2:6 Golden Coins for Game Boy. Later starred in his own series, Wario Land. In 2003, Nintendo released the Wario Ware series, Inc., in which Wario buys an old computer and start a company, inviting their friends Jimmy t., Mona, 9-Volt, Dribble and Spitz, Orbulon, Dr. Crygor and Kat and Ana.
