A spiritual sequel to Death Mark, it follows up on a different cast and setting from the original game, taking place five years later, but with connected characters, plot and gameplay elements. A western release was announced at Anime Expo 2019 for October 2019 on the PlayStation 4, the PlayStation Vita, the Nintendo Switch, and Steam. The PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch versions will be available physically and digitally, and the PlayStation Vita and Steam versions will be digital-only. With the introduction of the new "Survival Escape" system, NG is an even greater production of "fear." Additionally, NG offers an even greater sense of uneasiness and tension with aspects like the "Crisis Choice" system where an error in judgment will prove immediately fatal or when "death" visits your companions.
