The large, yellow-painted mansion occupies a cliff overlooking the sea. The mansion includes two upper floors, an attic, and a basement. Like many older residences, the kitchen is a separate building to avoid overheating the main house; it is connected to the mansion through a tunnel, however. There is a large, functional observatory building towards the rear which acts as Caruso's workspace and which also houses his collection of artifacts from the history of science.
