Shockwave - Black Tide Here is my entry into the highly exclusive Controversial First Ever FC Club, joined by the likes of Aby with his GGAHT FC on PCSX2 at 50hz and perhaps even the other "first FC" of this song by Bromik with a no-strums modifier on. I say this is controversial because I do not deem this to be a true first FC. I FC'd the chart, yes, but given I played this on an emulator with a real guitar controller instead of the guitar grip, I would say this doesn't actually count - it goes against the spirit of the original game. It's simply not the same accomplishment as FCing this on a real Nintendo DS using the peripheral this game was designed to be used with and you can't convince me otherwise. Is this more or less legit than the FC with no strums? That's up for debate, I honestly couldn't make a stance one way or the other. Feel free to argue the merits of each side in the comments down below. The main takeaway here is that this song remains unFC'd to this day, and is the last officially released song in the entire Guitar Hero series that has yet to be FC'd on expert guitar. If someone is willing to risk their health and safety by using that god-awful guitar grip to FC this, be my guest, but it sure as hell won't be me.
