Spectre Media is proud to announce that the highly-anticipated Starship Troopers Invasion: "Mobile Infantry" game is now available via the Apple® App Store℠ for iPhone®, iPad®, and iPod touch® users all over the world. A bevy of in-game upgrades and customization options are soon to follow. Starship Troopers Invasion: "Mobile Infantry" is the first mobile game in the legendary Starship Troopers franchise and also the first game from the fan-favorite series to be made available within the Apple® App Store℠. The game places an emphasis on brisk action, high-speed combat, and fast-paced gunfights. Both longtime fans and newcomers alike will get the thrill of their lives as the hordes keep coming and the bullets keep flying in one of this year's most talked-about science fiction action games. Spectre Media worked closely with Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions Inc. to incorporate film-accurate character models and the musical score from the new Starship Troopers: Invasion movie into the game. The result? "Mobile Infantry" stays true to both the recently released film and the classic original Robert A. Heinlein novel and delivers an engaging short story which features dialogue from the voices behind Starship Troopers: Invasion. Actors David Wald, Leraldo Anzaldua, Andrew Love, Emily Neves, and Justin Doran all lent their talent to provide the kind of sarcastic gallows humor that Sci-Fi fans have come to expect from the SST universe. The end result is a rollicking action-adventure blast-em-up. Diehard fans as well as casual gamers will be enthralled by this game's blend of science fiction, gritty settings, and pulse-pounding shootouts. As a member of a K-12 Mobile Infantry unit, players will embark on a desperate last-minute journey to Fort Casey, a Federation outpost on a desolate asteroid in the middle of space. Their mission is to combat an alien infestation and take out a hive of rancorous, vicious bugs. Players can expect an unforgiving and chaotic battle as they attempt to blaze through obstacles and survive epic brawls under the command of Major Henry Varro.
