GC Hudson Selection Vol. 2: Star Soldier

You know me, I love a good shmup and this 2003 budget remake of "Star Soldier" is right up my alley! So happy I finally go this at a decent price to add to my GameCube collection. It is not just a straight remake either, there are refined elements like the discharge shot that does tons of damage to enemies and destroys enemy bullets, offering a different strategy to tackle the game's 10 levels. There are also caravan 5 minute and 2 minute game modes of course and a lot of hidden stuff to unlock like the original game commercials. If you like shmups and have a GameCube or Wii, this is highly recommended. Might have to buy the whole range of "Hudson Selection" for GameCube in the future. Enjoy!
