C64 Game - Savage Island

I attempted to complete this using a solution I found at WorldofSpectrum.org but I kept getting pulled down in the lake part. Dammit. Published in 1987 by Tynesoft/Adventuresoft and created by Scott Adams and Russ Wetmore.
