🍎 Cinnamon Apple Swirl Cake Ingredients for a 20–24 cm pan 🧈 Batter: Butter — 110 g (melted & cooled) Sugar — 120 g (can mix white & brown 50/50) Eggs (large) — 2 Vanilla sugar — 10 g All-purpose flour — 240 g Baking powder — 8 g Baking soda — 1/4 tsp Salt — a pinch Yogurt or kefir — 150 ml (room temperature) 🍏 Apples with cinnamon: Apples — 5–6 (small) Sugar — 20 g Ground cinnamon — 4 g Lemon juice — 1 tbsp 🌪 Swirl topping: Brown sugar — 60 g Ground cinnamon — 5 g 👩‍🍳 Directions: 1. Prep the apples 🍏 Peel and cut the apples into cubes or slices. Drizzle with lemon juice, then mix with sugar and cinnamon. 👉 If the apples are too hard, bake them in the oven for 10 minutes while you prepare the batter. 2. Make the batter 🥣 Mix melted butter with sugar and vanilla sugar until smooth. Whisk in the eggs one at a time 🥚. Add yogurt (or kefir) and stir again. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gently fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture. The batter should be medium-thick. 3. Assemble the cake 🏗 Grease or line the baking pan (20–24 cm round or 20×25 cm rectangular). Mix brown sugar and cinnamon for the swirl topping. Layer 1: half of the batter → sprinkle half the topping 🌪 → spread half the apples 🍏. Layer 2: repeat with the remaining batter → topping → apples. Finish with the rest of the sugar–cinnamon mix on top. 4. Bake 🔥 Place in a preheated oven at 175°C (350°F) and bake for 50–70 minutes. 👉 Check with a toothpick: it should come out clean from the center. 5.
