Scram Kitty and his Buddy on Rails Gameplay - E3 2013
This is me playing! I'm not very good at this game, so the gameplay might be poor... but if you'd like to know my opinion on the game, please read below! Most of my fans may watch this video and say "Huh? I've never heard of this game!" That's most likely because it's an eShop game on the Wii U, and as such, it doesn't gain as much popularity as other franchises such as Mario or Zelda. It is being developed by a company called Dakko Dakko. Furthermore, there was only one station of this game at the convention (at least, as far as I was aware), as opposed to Mario Kart 8 having about six stations. Regardless, this game is an Indie game, which is why it stood out to me. Indie games, and my opinions, are true games, in my opinion. The reason I admire Nintendo is because they make GAMES, to the truest definition of the word... at least, in my opinion. With an Indie game, the game always starts with a simple idea and evolves into something entertaining. Scram Kitty is no exception! It's a simplistic game at which I'm just really bad! The concept behind the game, as previously stated, is simple. You ride on rails throughout the game, which go in all sorts of curves and angles. You can hop from rail to rail, and you have to collect various power-ups in order to destroy certain obstacles in order to advance through the stage. You can shoot to the side or straight ahead, and using these shots will allow one to advance through a stage! It's a small concept, but it's a creative one! Unfortunately, this isn't the best gameplay to show how interesting this game is. Now, I know this an Indie game, and an eShop title at that, so I'm not expecting a blockbuster title that makes $50 million. But, hey, you never know! And I certainly think that this game has great potential! The person that filmed this for me was one of the two representatives (at least, that I saw) for this game. I'm extremely thankful that he was willing to record for me... I'm just sorry that I made him withstand all this poor gameplay footage. Ah well. Overall, this game is fun and enjoyable! Thank you, and enjoy! ;)
