Spend a peaceful day in the outdoor gorilla habitat at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo with baby Jameela and her devoted foster mom, Fredrika. In this 26-minute video, we follow the pair as they explore their environment, enjoy a leafy feast, and take time to rest and bond. Jameela, now over 15 months old, sticks close to Freddy throughout the day—occasionally trying her hand (and foot!) at a little climbing but mostly soaking up the comfort and security of her surrogate mom’s side. You’ll also catch glimpses of the entire gorilla troop—silverback Mokolo, playful Kunda and Kayembe, and the wise older females.
