село Жанбобек Карагандинской области. Бывший совхоз им. ХХII партсьезда. Каракойын, бывшая Целиноградская область. 300 км от Астаны. Между Аркалыком и Шубаркулем. К северу находится озеро Тенгиз. This village is located 300 km southwest from Astana. To the north you will find the Tengiz Lake, the haven for birdwatchers. To the south, you will find vast areas of treeless plains with barren lands. Back in the Soviet times, this place used to be a busy place with thousands of Soviet people travelling here for jobs and careers. Now this place is inhabited by the very few, who raise cattle, horses and sheep. Yet, to some and especially to me these are very precious places, dating back to my childhood, spent with my late grandpa and grandma.
