Right after picking up their child, they deliberately made their way back in the dark, taking a long detour to bring the kitten home. They named him "Chuyi" and took him for checkups and vaccinations, gradually introducing him to their resident female cat, "Miaomiao." At first, Chuyi was timid and scared of people, and Miaomiao was somewhat resistant to him. But as time went by, Chuyi became increasingly lively and confident, and the two cats went from being strangers to becoming good friends, eating, playing, and roughhousing together every day. Having been a stray, Chuyi especially cherished food and would always finish Miaomiao's leftovers.
