To Heart 2: Dungeon Travelers (PC) - Angra Mainyu

Notable changes from PSP that I noticed (that are relevant to this fight, there's a lot more changes than just this): Parry was changed to DT2 specs. That is, it no longer blocks non-elemental attacks (all of Angra Mainyu's and the Jet Black Demon's attacks), making it completely useless in phase 2. Multi-hit skills were changed so that Avenger only triggers after the last hit. This is a tremendous buff to Samurai and Valkyrie, and Samurai can now use Moonlight Purgatory during this fight, whereas on PSP it was preferable to use Raging Smash. This also makes Samurai probably the best damage dealer for this fight, whereas on PSP it was probably Dark Lord. Cook got massively buffed. TP management is no longer an issue in any way. Clones protect against Creation and Destruction? Neat I guess? Chanting was changed to DT2 specs. No more instant Shadow Clone, scrolls, or any other spells. Shadow Sew is of course useless in this fight (and practically the entire game really) since it was also changed to DT2 specs. Kunoichi, while greatly nerfed, is still an amazing class. A lot of weapon speeds were buffed. Just about... everything really. Muramasa went from D+ to C which is very noticeable. Light Scroll can miss. If it misses, the debuff doesn't apply. On the other hand, the other scrolls apply their debuffs even if they miss. Other than that, it's Angra Mainyu again, and more or less the same strategies from PSP still apply. You can even still cheese it with Shadow Clone, it's just way more tedious and TP-intensive. As usual, MI needs to have stun and sleep immunity or you likely wipe unless you get lucky (Kaguya's Robe is excellent for this purpose). The Parry nerf means your JK is much more likely to die against the Jet Black Demon since Parry doesn't block its attacks. The main change from my PSP playthrough is the use of a Kunoichi instead of a Sage. Instead of using Amplification on MI to survive Merciless Aureole, I gave MI Hakuowlo's Mask and that works great. Samurai uses Blood Rage for similar reasons. Kunoichi brings Phoenix and the scrolls which I find more valuable than what Sage brings. Excellent port. I don't agree with many of the changes made in the Vita/PC version, but I can't say I didn't appreciate level reset checkpoints and having a proper map for the nightmare that is Battle District. 0:00 Stats and gear 0:17 Phase 1 2:46 Phase 2
