Family Feud (SNES) Playthrough - NintendoComplete

A playthrough of GameTek's 1993 game show game for the Super Nintendo game, Family Feud. In this video I play until the game forces me to retire as champion. Game 2 16:06 Game 3 33:01 Game 4 47:23 Game 5 1:00:58 Game 6 1:13:49 Following on the heels of their 16-bit adaptations of Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy!, and American Gladiators, GameTek's release of Family Feud on the SNES and Genesis (   • Family Feud (Genesis) Playthrough - N...   ) marked the fourth and final game show franchise the company would tackle for consoles that generation. Ray Combs is nowhere to be seen, but the game overall does nice job recreating the look and feel of the show - it's so much better than the NES game with its irradiated hot dog stand aesthetic (   • Family Feud (NES) Playthrough - Ninte...   ). The set is convincing, your pixelated host could pass as any one of several Family Feud hosts, and the sound effects and the theme music are satisfyingly close to the real thing. The game is a lot of fun with two players, but not so much as a single player game thanks to the wonky (but highly exploitable) text parser and annoying, aggressive AI opponents. It is fun to see how dated these questions are now, though. I got a lot of laughs out of some of these topics. And really, that's about all I have to say about it. It's a Family Feud video game, and it gets the job done just fine. If you like these sort of games, you'll like this one too. (But psstt.... play the 3DO version instead. It's amazing. Better than the PlayStation game!) _____________ No cheats were used during the recording of this video. NintendoComplete (
