Speed Racer in The Challenge of Racer X (1993) - PC Futuristic Racing Games

Speed Racer in The Challenge of Racer X by Accolade, 1993. A pretty looking, yet pretty underwhelming game, based on the comic/anime series. Random sound clips shout out repetitively as you bounce your way, often uncontrollably, down roads where the car sprites are slightly too large to fit. A handful of upgrades and weapons are available, though I limit it to the bounce/turbo here, as we take a quick look a each of the stages available.
