Seiken Densetsu 3 {Final Boss} Dragon Emperor (No Class Change)

► Playlist with challenge:
Final battle begins at 02:31 **DETAILS IN THE DESCRIPTION. READ THEM BEFORE ASKING ANYTHING** _________________________________________________________________ Q: CHEATER! A: Fuck off. A²: If you don't understand how the game works, just shut up and don't risk embarrassing yourself. Q: What happened to the first seven bosses (Full Metal Hugger, Machine Golem (Bridge to Forcena), Jewel Eater, Tzenker, Genova and Gorva)? A: There's no point in posting these battles as most people fight them with no class change anyway. The focus of this challenge is get the bigger fights later on. Q: Why are enemies magic are dealing such low damage? A: "Class unchanged" characters take MUCH LESS damage from magic, it's why this challenge is still doable. For reference, First class take 1.0x damage, second class take 1.6x damage and third class take 1.9x (!) damage. Q: How can you deal more than 1 damage without magic? A: Using Byzel buff items and random enemy drop debuff items. While this breaks the game in half and to dust on normal circumstances, it is NOT an option here. Q: How do you get those "Eye" debuff items? They don't sell them in Byzel. A: Debuff items are not sold in Byzel, so you MUST know which enemy drops what. To get the item you need to kill that enemy last (before the Victory! message) and have the RNG give you a chest and then the correct item. Yes, it's boring. A²: You can also get them by planting Magic Item Seeds. But what item you get is utterly random and between Coins to Statues and Claws there are more than 30 types, so yeah... But this is the only way to get the almighty Shadowzero's Eye in this challenge. Q: Why is your Defense is horrendous? Buy some better armor! A: Armor CANNOT be upgraded after Elrand/Sultan unless you class change. This is by far the biggest problem with this challenge as enemies will start doing over 100 damage PER HIT during the God-Beast battles and easily over 200 (!) in the final dungeons. Q: What about your level? A: Leveling is pretty much pointless beyond 30~38. I do mainly to have enough HP to survive enemy encounters. If you really want to go nuts you can finish the game with even lower levels. A²: If you focus solely on STR/VIT or INT/PIE you'll have those status maxed by Level 15 (probably). Depends on which character you are using. Hawk and Lise are a mixed bag, so they might take fewer levels to cap their First Class attributes. Q: How do you survive forced, or "Trapped!", encounters with enemies later on? A: Body Change with Chibi-D. Eye (easily farmed in Path to the Heavens). Certain enemies like Boulders are immune to it, though.
