My fifty-fifth Let’s Play I hope you enjoy Étude No. 1 – Composer’s Prologue In the town of Godesburg, Germany lays the once famous Moonlight Opera House, home to the legendary 19th century composer Francis von Amadeus. Although the derelict opera house has been abandoned for many years, neighbors can hear beautiful and strange music playing from within its decaying walls. Some even claim that, during a full moon, a gaunt, ghostly figure can be seen standing on the second floor balcony. The city’s archivists and musical historians have given you access to the late composer’s documents, including a journal filled with riddles that correspond to the building’s many chambers. Solve the riddles and you will uncover the identity of this mysterious figure and learn the secrets surrounding the Moonlight Opera House. Good luck, Inspector. In 1822, at the age of seven, he began performing for patrons. His greatest patron was the stern Baron Johann Lehrer, a banker who supported Francis and helped him rise to fame before his eighteenth birthday. Looking through the portraits, clues revealed that Johann thought of Francis like a son. The composer’s parents had passed away early in his life, likely due to a cholera outbreak that hit Godesburg particularly hard.
