Theme - A Melody of Hope [Introduction to VGM: Yume no Tsubasa - Fate of Heart]
Salutations, current and new VGM fans. I welcome you all to the start of my introduction to VGM. Even if it is short, one melody can affect your mindset to be permissive in responding to different attributes of VGM by various genres offered. VGM may have similar chords or instruments to play out just like every non-VGM albums would do, but it has its kind to inspire major composers in the music industry, whether it’s from well-known movies, television shows or others with a set of patterns to present entirely as Original Soundtracks (OST) or Background Music (BGM). The history of VGM has evolved quite drastically on the sound composition of music from chiptune to electronic music as time goes by. Therefore, each VGM track will perform various elements to “strike a pose” by changing the tempos and emotions to be accommodated with the appropriate environment. An example such as Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game offers a majority amount of chiptune, composed by the legendary Anamanaguchi which contributed the best and energetic tracks to fight alongside your allies and beat everything in sight with astounding music by your side. This is what we seek to be motivated, either in happiness or sadness, there will always be a way to accompany yourself In the Video Game Universe altogether. In this universe itself, it will be your place to stand by whom you want to be as the character you admired. Good or bad, the decision is yours to choose in this environment. In the end, music can influence us to change our thoughts, but not the actions we made. Thus, we must position ourselves to succeed in life, whether we’re playing video games, or achieving a memorable event, we deserved to receive for our efforts at the end of the day. Thanks for listening and enjoy your stay. Keep it steady! Information about Video Game Music [VGM] :
