The player takes the role of an Allied M4 Sherman tank commander in the Fourth Armored Division during World War II. In the game's 10 missions, set in Europe, the player must complete 30 objectives such as escort, search & destroy, assault, and defense. WWII Tank Commander is an arcade action shooter rather than a simulator. Even though the player is driving one of the worst tanks in World War II, they may still easily beat German Tiger tanks despite taking a lot of damage.
