Rondo of Swords Tutorial 1-10

Following the recommendation of MarioPokemon123456 I tried picking up Rondo of Swords. I played all the tutorial maps and the first few chapters yesterday but I gotta say, I still have no idea how the game mechanics actually work. I think I get the gist of the Route Maneuver System but apart from that my understanding of mechanics like its skill system, directional properties, OB, MC, etc. is very superficial. Generally not a fan of strategy games not showing me all the numbers or the nitty gritty details (how do I check bow/magic range in advance gaem), and especially not being clear on how the damn battle calculations work :( I'll keep this game in my backlog though, despite the inconveniences I find the core mechanics interesting enough to find myself returning to at some point.
