Played by: just_dont_do_it A shiny but well-hidden gem, Anvil of Dawn is a largely unknown 1st-person realtime RPG released in 1995 by New World Computing. The game blends interesting technological advancements for a RPG (a simplistic 3D-engine, ingame movies made in 3DSMax, voice-overs) with rather interesting story and non-linear world. I've played through the game with a magically-oriented character, mostly because warrior tends to be much more boring in comparison. Everything were explored, all the interesting things were found and demonstrated. All three endings (a non-standard gameover, a "bad" and a "good" ending) are included. PS: To speed things up, some parts where I wasted a few minutes saving/reloading to get the most out of permanent buff potions were removed. Also, there are one or two cases where I just stood in place waiting for the natural regeneration to fill my HP/MP. These were cut too.
