Seiken Densetsu 3 [Boss 21] Koren, Wizard of Red Lotus

The final enemy you must fight in the very end of Dragon's Hole is none less than Koren, the Wizard of Red Lotus who pestered you the entire game. Now it's payback time for what he did to you at Island of Oblivion. Koren is either a joke or one of the most formidable of the exclusive bosses, he keeps spamming any kind of spell non-stop and even his low level magics are very dangerous. He also moves swiftly around the battlefield and you may be even able to access the Start Button inventory for a recharge at times (I'm not kidding on this one). Koren will also use Barrier Change to make him immune or absorb certain elements, if you're with Angela I highly recommend you to test with a low level spell before anything or you may end up healing him. Why this battle can be a joke? Matango Oil or Counter Magic. This will render almost every magic of Koren useless reflecting them back at him. The problem is that Ancient is the only spell which will break through the shield, but is his most devastating attack being able to deal humongous 500~700 damage.
