Panza Kick Boxing Longplay (Amiga) [QHD]

Developed by Futura and published by Loriciel in 1990 A lot of noise gets made about the quality and fluidity of the character animation in games like Prince of Persia and Flashback, but a game that doesn't get talked about - and really should - is Panza Kick Boxing. It's a fighting game that treads a line somewhere between arcade fighter and simulation-lite, featuring remarkably detailed animation. It's clear artist Marco de Flores must have spent a ton of time in putting together routines for each of the game's fighting moves, making this one of the best-looking games at the time of release. What's more, Panza Kick Boxing is the first game I can think of that that allowed players to completely customise their fighter's move-set, and I'm not sure if it's been done since, disregarding the game's own semi-sequel, Best of the Best: International Karate. I especially like the career mode that involves training your fighter, improving fitness and endurance, then taking on an increasingly bad-ass selection of kickboxers, all the way to taking on Andre Panza himself.
